Englands footballers will take to the fields on 26th March 2008 against France, wearing the world’s first interactive football kit.

The kits incorporate QR codes which can be read by mobile phones runing compatible software the code directs the handsets browser to a site which contains competions and exclusive downloads.

Umbro said they will be making this available to the other strips they make in the near future…

Just noticed that Nokia have released software to create your own codes with a big push on promotion..

All thought this idea is not necessarily new (been used in US for a while) it is still a very interesting one for 1 Euro a day you can drive around some of the major towns in Germany and Austria in a Smart or for around 9 Euro why not give a Mini a whirl.
